Aaron is the General Counsel of Opera, a Nasdaq listed technology company headquartered in Norway, with subsidiaries, operations and investments worldwide. Aaron manages Opera’s legal and compliance teams. His practice currently focuses on capital markets and compliance issues, as well as the company’s strategic growth initiatives within the areas of e-commerce, gaming and AI.

Since joining Opera in 2011, Aaron has managed contracting associated with the licensing of embedded software and the provision of web services, as well as worked with product and sales teams on legal issues associated with the company’s expanding portfolio of products and services. Aaron has advised Opera on intellectual property and corporate structure issues and supported the company through various M&A, restructuring and divestiture processes, as well as strategic initiatives in emerging markets and the public offering of Operas securities.

Prior to joining Opera, Aaron worked for five years as an associate attorney in the United States with a practice focusing on antitrust and property insurance related litigation. Aaron is a 2005 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center.
