David Fletcher

Commercial lawyer

David Fletcher is a British solicitor who is currently engaged mainly in lecturing and research work. His main areas of expertise are Company, Commercial and Competition Law. He was educated at Oriel College, Oxford, at Bar School and at University College, London. After initially qualifying as a barrister, he subsequently requalified as a solicitor in order to make use of his knowledge of languages: he speaks French, German, and Finnish.
David Fletcher has lectured on specialist law and contract drafting seminars held under the auspices of Law Societies and other course providers in various countries, notably Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Finland. He has also lectured at the Universities of Helsinki, Tallinn and Kiel. David Fletcher has given courses and seminars to international law firms, airlines, banks, government departments, in-house legal departments of international companies and for the International Bar Association.
Although Norwegian lawyers have attended David Fletcher’s courses in the other Nordic countries, this is the first course that he has given in Norway.”
